Martina was honoured to perform at The House of Commons this evening in a celebration of live music to welcome The Live Music Act. The Rt Hon Don Foster and Lord Tim Clement-Jones hosted the occasion in association with UK Music and Musicians' Union. The act will mean that venues under 200 capacity will not have to apply for a live music license, so this is great news for small venues!
"It is a pleasure to be part of this event celebrating the opportunities that this vital piece of legislation will create. Live performance is a central force in creativity - for me as an artist the importance of playing live all over the world cannot be overstated. The live music act will make a real difference to emerging talent and is something that everyone involved should be very proud of." - MTB
