U.S. Tour Anyone?

I know for a fact that there are a MASS of US fans that are craving for some live Blue God action. I've seen the pictures, and I've got the proof. There are plenty of people willing to go out of their way to see Martina in action.

Here's what I propose. I see that Martina's confirmed for SXSW in Austin, TX (YESSSS!). I think that's completely amazing, but, I think her management or tour managers need to take notice of the fact that she needs to strike while she's hot over here, and do a good 6 city preview run (at LEAST 6 cities) of the US/Canada.

This is how I see it:

3/16 - San Francisco, CA @ Swedish American Music Hall
3/17 - Los Angeles, CA @ Coronet Theater at Largo
3/19 - Austin, TX @ SXSW
3/21 - Chicago, IL @ Double Door
3/23 - Montreal, QB @ Il Motore
3/25 - Philadelphia, PA @ World Cafe Live
3/26 - New York, NY @ Le Poisson Rouge
3/28 - Washington, DC @ Black Cat

(Realistically, I know that there wouldn't be a Philly/DC date as well, but I know it's all about market response. If this post was proof enough though, I can show anyone that asks *cough,cough - touring managers - cough,cough* that there are at least 100 people who can say that they would attend a Philadelphia / DC date.)

All of those dates are currently available at those venues, and I'm sure they'd be HONORED to have Martina play for their wonderful audiences. Let's make it work!

I'm thinking that if she got a US release date around March/April, she should be able to come back for a full-fledged North American tour (which would include Minneapolis, Zac!...ideally at the 7th Street Entry.)

At the last concert Martina told me she wants to play concerts in Europe again in spring, probably around March... So I guess we've got dibs, sorry guys ;-)

She's not on the schedule at the official sxsw site any more as of 2/27. Could be just schedule/venue changes but does anyone know what the latest is?

But here's some good news for all French people: she will play at a festival called "Art Rock" in Saint-Brieuc on May 31, here's the official site.

Tricky will also play at that festival, one day before :)
